Without an FAQ, ChatGPT has nothing to cite on your website: our audit of 136 websites

We audited 136 websites in October 2026: 79% have no FAQ on their homepage. Without an FAQ, your website gives ChatGPT nothing to cite.

79% of websites have no FAQ: Pandorra Studio audit of 136 websites

A homeowner asks ChatGPT which agency to choose to sell their flat in Geneva. A couple asks Gemini where to book a villa in St Barts. Within seconds, the AI gives five or six names. To pick them, it relies on what it finds on websites: clear answers that are easy to reuse.

In October 2026, we audited the homepage of 136 websites: real estate agencies in Luxembourg and Brussels, and tourism businesses in the French Caribbean. The result: 79% have no FAQ, and 62% have no structured data describing the business. Yet these are two formats that Google and AI tools read and reuse easily.

What AI looks for on your website

AI doesn’t browse your website like a visitor. It looks for a precise answer to a client’s question: this trade, in this city. An FAQ gives it exactly that.

Example for a real estate agency in Geneva:

Client question: “Do you help foreign buyers?”

Answer: “Yes. Our Geneva agency supports foreign buyers at every step: property search, remote viewings, notary and financing.”

A real question, a short answer, your name and your city: that is what AI reuses when it recommends a business.

Three simple fixes

A real FAQ. Eight to ten questions your clients actually ask, on the phone, in store or by message, with answers of two or three sentences.

Structured data. Code your visitors don’t see, which tells Google and AI who you are, where you are and what you do. Your FAQ is tagged in it, question by question.

One page per service. A clear page for each offer, which AI can quote as it is.

An FAQ never works alone

Each question in your FAQ can become an Instagram post, a story, a newsletter paragraph or an answer on your Google Business Profile. Working on your FAQ means working on your website and your social media at the same time: everything fits together. It is the same work for your Google ranking and for your visibility in AI answers. And a good FAQ sells: it reassures clients and answers before they call.

What we do

Pandorra Studio writes your FAQ from your clients’ real questions, adds the structured data and organises your website by service. Then we turn each answer into content for your social media and your newsletters. One team, one contact, from the website to the ads.

We always start with a free AI visibility test: we ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity your clients’ questions, and show you who they recommend instead of you.
